To reduce the reverberation time, Mottura roller blinds with sound-absorbing Soltis Touch fabric from Serge Ferrari were installed, along with Soundflex acoustic panels from Tensilence covered with the same material. These panels were suspended seemingly randomly with the precise goal of visually unifying an irregular ceiling.
The outcome of acoustic measurements, conducted before and after their installation, revealed a reduction of up to 55% in the reverberation time of frequencies between 500 Hz and 2000 Hz, which are typical of indoor speech.
