For the setup of the exhibition "2050: How Do We Get There? Sustainable, Cleaner, Faster, Safer Mobility for All," Mario Cucinella Architects chose the eco-sustainable fabric Raytent Living. The installation, at the Muse in Trento, is based on soft poufs of various sizes and colors made exclusively with recycled Raytent fabric. It's a soft and delicate fabric, pleasant to the touch, much like a natural fabric. Therefore, even though it was developed for outdoor use, Raytent Living finds an ideal place indoors.
Mario Cucinella Architects was looking for a fabric with a strong emphasis on environmental sustainability without sacrificing design and performance. Raytent Living represents the perfect mix: delicate colors, natural tones, extraordinary colorfastness in the sunlight, stain resistance, and mildew resistance. An optimal choice for a museum that hosts hundreds of visitors every day!
Raytent is the first mass-dyed pre-consumer recycled acrylic yarn, certified as "ReMade in Italy" created to recover production waste from awning fabrics. Highly performant textile products are made from this yarn.
